Galatians 5: Faith Working Through Love, Not Religious Bondage

Article Summary

This devotional reflection on Galatians 5 considers circumcision, head coverings and other outward practices in the light of Christ’s grace. Additional Insights: An Eagle-Eye View of Galatians 5:2–25

My Eagle-Eye “Spy Skills” Insight

When I look at Galatians 5:2–25 from an eagle-eye view and apply what I call my “spy skills”—decrypting or dividing the numbers, as 2 Timothy 2:15 reminds me to rightly divide the word—I remove the visual “noise” of the colon and dash. Then, lo and behold, I see a cool 52–25: a reflection of heaven and earth.

Both sides hide a 7: 5 + 2 = 7 and 2 + 5 = 7. Seven draws my eye to Wisdom’s seven pillars and to the sevenfold description surrounding the Spirit of the Lord in Isaiah 11:2. This enables God-fearing believers to examine and adjust our behaviour through the context of Galatians—being faithful, the seventh fruit named in the NKJV order, and reflecting our God, who is faithful.

Proverbs 25:2 also gives me direction to search out a matter. When I seek it out, 5 and 2 point me to kindness and joy, twice over. When I add 7 and 7, I get 14, tightening my focus so that I look through the lens of love—1, the first fruit of the Holy Spirit—and the patience of Jesus—4, the fourth fruit. This is how the numerical pattern brings me back to the behaviour Galatians 5 calls for.

A fascinating extra detail caught my eagle eye: Chuck Missler’s Cosmic Codes PDF has a totality of exactly 552 PDF pages. I preserve that 552 total as another personal number observation not to be confused with solid doctrine.

Why the spy comparison makes Bible reading more fun for me

Scholarly work shows that intelligence is not one person simply guessing at a secret. Services use specialised roles—including agents, intelligence officers and analysts—and depend upon trained examination, trust and verification (Božič and Keston-Siebert 2024; Lundborg 2021). Historical studies also describe agents exchanging reports and instructions through handlers or controlling officers (Morrison 2024). In cryptography, an authorised sender transforms a message according to a system and key so that the intended receiver can recover it; cryptanalysis tests how that message may be recovered without being given the key (Shannon 1949).

Missler, my favourite go-to Bible speaker and teacher, gives this comparison a particularly close match. He distinguishes cryptography from cryptanalysis and explains how a sender and receiver can share an agreed book-code system (Missler 2011, pp. 5–7). He then asks the reader to imagine an undercover agent receiving counterfeit instructions that appear to come from “Control” and needing to test them through authentication, verification and validation (Missler 2011, pp. 179–180). That is very close to the picture I had in mind when describing messages connected to an authority figure.

The CIA’s account of recognition signals gives a simple real-world example: the sign must be recognised by both the person sending it and the intended recipient. I apply the comparison devotionally: God is my authority, Scripture is the controlling message, and I ask the Holy Spirit to teach and remind me while I test every observation against the words, context and fruit of Scripture. The Bible in my opinion after studying it for many years appears to be layered even though it is regarded as a simple book to understand even by children (which I beg to differ, seeing this is a teaching of Mormonisim), I know that the GOSPEL — The GOOD NEWS — can be understood even by children, however, the Bible as a whole needs careful examination and study as prompted in 2 Timothy 2:15 where God encourages us to 'divide' the word and 'study' the word to be approved by God thus revealing that the Word is multilayered and is not a secret cipher reserved for an elite group; my “spy skills” are a joyful way of looking closely and then returning to what the passage actually teaches. That makes Bible reading even more fun for me.

Study distinction: In its direct setting, 2 Timothy 2:15 commands diligent and accurate handling of the word of truth; it gives us a clue to decoding modern chapter-and-verse numbers and therefore, the number pattern below is therefore my personal application as I enact the passage as I am guided by the Holy Spirit during my study prompt.

52 and 25: a Reflection of Heaven and Earth

When the punctuation marks are set aside, 5:2–25 becomes 5225. Dividing the four digits through the centre gives 52 | 25: the same two digits returning in reverse order. In my numeric framework, I see the first pair as heaven and the second as its earthly reflection—an “above and below” arrangement inviting God-fearing believers to reflect heavenly character and culture in earthly behaviour (forgetting earthly culture).

This subtly points to the passage reference about heaven and earth tucked away in the Lords's prayer in Matthew 6: 9 -13. The chapter and verse numbers are a later navigation system rather than words from Paul’s original letter; modern New Testament verse numbering was introduced in the sixteenth century (Nellen and Steenbakkers 2017). I receive the mirror as a memorable study prompt: after seeing it, I return to Paul’s actual words and ask how heaven’s values should change my conduct on earth.

Two 7s: Wisdom, the Spirit and Faithfulness

Both reflected sides lead to seven:

• 5 + 2 = 7
• 2 + 5 = 7

The two 7s bring several scriptural associations to mind. Proverbs 9:1 says that Wisdom has hewn out her seven pillars. Isaiah 11:2 gives a sevenfold description when the Spirit of the Lord is counted together with wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord. Revelation 4:5 explicitly uses the expression “the seven Spirits of God.” Christians explain the relationship between these passages in different ways, so I hold the numerical association as a devotional connection rather than a mathematical proof.

Missler’s chapter “The Magic of Sevens” surveys recurring sevenfold patterns in biblical passages (Missler 2011, pp. 89–95). I include it as a resource that helped shape my interest in such patterns, while allowing the plain context of Galatians 5 to govern this particular reflection.

Seven also returns me directly to Galatians 5. Using the NKJV order of the fruit of the Spirit, the seventh fruit named is faithfulness. The doubled seven therefore reminds me that God is faithful, and that a Spirit-led response to religious contention should also be faithful: faithful to Christ, faithful to Scripture and faithful in love toward His children.

From 7 + 7 to 14: Love and Patience

Adding the two 7s gives 14. I then read the digits separately through the same NKJV fruit order: 1 points to love, the first fruit named, and 4 points to longsuffering, commonly expressed as patience. This tightens the focus of the whole reflection. The first lens through which we respond must be love, and the fourth reminds us to carry the patience of Jesus rather than biting and devouring one another.

Proverbs 25:2 celebrates searching out a matter. Missler places this verse at the entrance to “The First Cryptanalyst” (Missler 2011, p. 51) and returns to it while introducing his discussion of numerology, numerics and gematria (Missler 2011, p. 281; see pp. 279–300). In my personal search, the reflected 5 and 2 also point twice toward kindness and joy in the NKJV fruit order. The complete pattern becomes a behavioural reminder:

Study distinction

The NKJV fruit order supplies kindness, joy, faithfulness, love and longsuffering for this symbolic layer. The KJV passage preserved above uses “gentleness” for the fifth term and “faith” for the seventh. The translations express closely related ideas, but the number-to-fruit labels in this section intentionally follow the NKJV wording.

Spy Skills, Secret Messages and the Right Key

The intelligence comparison makes Bible reading more fun for me, but it also teaches discipline. Academic researchers Branko Božič and Sabina Keston-Siebert explain that “spy” is largely a popular label; real services contain agents, intelligence officers, analysts and other specialised roles (Božič and Keston-Siebert 2024). In the same way, not every field agent is a cryptanalyst. Code-making, secure communication, interception, analysis and codebreaking can involve different people and skills.

Claude Shannon’s foundational study of secrecy systems showed that an encoded message is transformed according to a system and a key, while cryptanalysis seeks to recover the information without being handed that key (Shannon 1949). The United States National Security Agency similarly defines cryptology as the science and art of making and breaking codes and ciphers. Its history records how encrypted communications were intercepted and solved to reveal strategically important information.

Clandestine communication can also move through a chain of authority. Historical research on Britain’s wartime Double-Cross System describes double agents sending reports to German handlers, who then processed and circulated the intelligence more widely (Morrison 2024). An agent might receive instructions from a controlling officer or send reports back to that authority, while communications specialists and codebreakers help protect, authenticate or recover the message. The authority relationship matters, but so do the correct channel, code and context.

One GCHQ case makes the lesson especially vivid. A wartime carrier pigeon was discovered with an encrypted message, but specialists concluded that it could not be decoded reliably without the original codebook and cryptographic material. Senders and intended receivers may share the proper key; outsiders who guess without it can produce many imaginative but untrustworthy “solutions” (GCHQ 2016).

That becomes an important spiritual analogy for me. God is the authority under whom I study, but the Bible is not an elite cipher available only to a secret class of believers. Its controlling “key” is open to the Church: read the words in context, respect their language and genre, compare Scripture with Scripture, keep Christ and His gospel central, pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and examine the fruit of an interpretation.

My eagle-eye number work is therefore like an observation exercise. Removing punctuation can reveal a memorable visual pattern, and that pattern can send me back into Scripture with fresh joy. Yet I do not allow the pattern to overrule Paul’s argument or create a teaching that the text itself cannot support. Good “spy skills” do not celebrate any possible solution; they test whether the proposed reading fits the message, the key and the authority behind it.

My Favourite Teacher Resource: Chuck Missler

Missler recommends balancing creative discovery with “scholarly caution” and allowing the integrity of the whole of Scripture to supply the ultimate context (Missler 2011, p. 352). He later describes personal Bible study as a treasure-hunting adventure in which insights are recorded and tested rather than treated as automatic proof (pp. 349–363).

What I Felt the Spirit Impress upon Me

As I read, I felt the Spirit impress upon me that some people become so focused on outward requirements—such as circumcision or head coverings—that they place a created practice above the power of Jesus’ blood and sacrifice on the cross.

An outward practice cannot save us, cleanse our conscience or produce the fruit of the Spirit. When it is treated as the measure of whether another person belongs to Christ, it is being asked to do what only Christ can do. That is spiritually dangerous. When a created thing receives the allegiance that belongs to Christ, it can become a form of idolatry.

Scripture places our redemption in Christ: we have redemption through His blood and forgiveness according to His grace. No piece of cloth and no mark in the flesh can be placed above that finished work.

At the same time, a voluntary practice is different from bondage. A Christian may choose to wear a head covering as an expression of personal conviction. A family may choose circumcision for cultural, family or medical reasons. The danger is not the mere existence of the practice. The danger is elevating it into a condition of salvation, righteousness or acceptance, and then compelling or condemning other believers by it.

Jesus, Paul and the Real Circumcision Dispute

Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day as a Jewish child (Luke 2:21), and Paul says that he too was circumcised on the eighth day (Philippians 3:4–9). Paul was therefore not arguing that the physical procedure was inherently evil.

The New Testament makes the distinction even clearer. Paul arranged for Timothy to be circumcised because of the Jewish communities among whom they would minister (Acts 16:1–5), but he refused to let Titus be compelled to undergo it as a requirement of the gospel (Galatians 2:1–5).

The Jerusalem Council also rejected the teaching that Gentile believers had to be circumcised in order to be saved. Peter described such compulsion as a yoke and affirmed that salvation is through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 15:1–29).

The distinction matters:

Paul could permit a practice for cultural or ministry reasons while resisting the same practice when people tried to make it necessary for salvation. His opposition was to compulsion, confidence in the flesh and justification by law—not to every private or voluntary choice.

Head Coverings and the Question of Contention

Paul’s discussion of head coverings appears in 1 Corinthians 11:2–16. Christians interpret this passage in different ways. Some understand Paul to teach a continuing physical head covering; some understand the instructions within their ancient Corinthian cultural setting; and others place particular emphasis on Paul’s discussion of hair.

Verse 16 closes with the words, “if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God” (NKJV). The verse does not literally say, “Throw head coverings out.” Interpreters also differ about the precise custom to which Paul refers. What is unmistakable, however, is that contention is not to become the spirit in which Christians handle the passage.

A head covering must never be preached as though it adds power to the blood of Jesus, completes His sacrifice or determines who is accepted in Christ. Likewise, someone who freely wears one should not be mocked or treated as though the covering itself proves bondage. Faith working through love leaves room for personal conviction without turning that conviction into a weapon.

Do Not Call Unclean What God Has Cleansed

I also remembered Peter’s vision of the great sheet in Acts 10. Peter first saw animals he considered unclean, but the event prepared him to enter the home of the Gentile Cornelius. Peter himself explained the human meaning of the vision: God had shown him that he should not call any person common or unclean (Acts 10:9–16, 28).

This does not mean that every doctrine or behaviour is automatically clean. It means we must not use cultural or ceremonial boundaries to declare people unworthy when God is drawing them to Himself. Acts 10 continues by showing the Holy Spirit poured out upon Gentiles, astonishing believers from the circumcision.

One in Christ Jesus

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Galatians 3:28 does not pretend that ethnicity, social circumstances or sex cease to exist. It declares that none of these distinctions gives one believer a superior standing before God. We are one in Christ, and our belonging is not established by skin colour, sex, social rank, circumcision or headwear.

Jesus said that if the Son makes us free, we shall be free indeed (John 8:36). In context, this freedom is first freedom from slavery to sin. Galatians 5 shows that it also means refusing to return to a yoke of legalistic bondage.

Freedom Must Bear the Fruit of the Spirit

Christian freedom is not permission to satisfy the flesh. Paul immediately says, “by love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13, KJV). The same chapter that opposes bondage also names hatred, wrath, strife and envy among the works of the flesh. If our teaching causes us to bite and devour other believers, we must examine not only our argument but also its fruit.

Jesus warned that fruit reveals the character of a teacher (Matthew 7:15–20). Appearance alone is not righteousness. A person may look religious while using harshness, fear and contention to control others. By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

That does not require silence when error or harm must be addressed. Paul corrected false teaching directly. Yet even correction should seek truth, restoration and peace rather than the pleasure of cutting another person down. As far as it depends on us, Scripture calls us to live peaceably with all (Romans 12:18).

The Holy Spirit Teaches—and We Still Test What We Hear

I remembered the promise of John 14:26:

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Jesus spoke these words directly to His disciples before the cross. The Church continues to depend upon the Holy Spirit, but a spiritual impression should never be used to avoid Scripture or careful study. We are told to test the spirits (1 John 4:1), and the Bereans were commended for examining the Scriptures to see whether a teaching was true (Acts 17:11).

Godly fear should therefore lead us to humility, not spiritual pride. We do not merely repeat what a preacher has said; we return to the Word, read the surrounding passage, compare Scripture with Scripture, pray and examine the fruit being produced.

Wisdom’s Invitation and Folly’s Imitation

Proverbs 9 pictures Wisdom building her house, preparing her table and sending out her maidens to invite people to life. Later in the same chapter, Folly also sits in a prominent place and calls out to those passing by. The two invitations can sound similar from a distance, but they lead to different destinations (Proverbs 9).

That is why outward religious confidence can be deceptive. Wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord and leads toward understanding. Folly may be loud and persuasive, but her imitation cannot produce the fruit of Christ.

✨ Deep Treasure

The opposite of religious bondage is not careless living; it is faith working through love. Christ frees us from trying to earn righteousness through outward practices, then the Holy Spirit forms within us the very fruit the law could never manufacture. A voluntary practice may remain a private conviction, but it must never replace the cross, become a condition of belonging or be used to bite and devour the children of God.

From my eagle-eye view, 5:2–25 becomes 52–25: kindness and joy reflected twice, producing two 7s that call me to faithfulness. Together the 7s form 14, narrowing my response to love first and Christlike patience. The number pattern is not the doctrine; it is a memory path returning me to the doctrine already written in Galatians 5.

Questions and Answers

Does Galatians 5 teach that circumcision is always wrong?

No. Paul opposed circumcision when it was imposed as necessary for salvation or justification. Acts 16 shows that he could permit it for a particular cultural and ministry reason, while Galatians 2 shows that he resisted compulsion when the truth of the gospel was at stake.

Is it wrong for a Christian woman to wear a head covering?

Not simply because she wears one. A woman may do so from sincere personal conviction. The problem arises when an outward practice is treated as a condition of salvation, a source of spiritual superiority or a rule by which all other believers must be condemned.

Does 1 Corinthians 11:16 abolish head coverings?

The verse does not settle every interpretive question by itself, and Christians differ about what Paul means by “no such custom.” It does, however, warn against handling the subject contentiously. The whole passage should be studied carefully rather than reduced to a slogan.

What does “faith working through love” mean?

It means that our standing in Christ is received through faith rather than earned by outward observances, while genuine faith is not barren. The Spirit produces love and leads believers to serve one another rather than use freedom selfishly.

How should Christians test a teaching or spiritual impression?

Read the passage in context, compare it with the wider witness of Scripture, pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, examine the fruit it produces and remain humble enough to correct an earlier conclusion. No impression should be placed above the written Word.

Does 2 Timothy 2:15 command Christians to decode verse numbers?

No. In context, Paul commands diligent and accurate handling of the word of truth. Modern chapter and verse numbers are later navigation aids, not part of Paul’s original manuscript. I use “rightly dividing” as inspiration to examine the reference carefully, while presenting 52–25 as a personal symbolic study insight rather than the direct meaning of 2 Timothy 2:15.

Why compare Bible study with intelligence and codebreaking?

The comparison makes observation enjoyable while reminding me to use the right key. Codebreakers need the correct system, context and cryptographic material; Bible readers need the passage’s language, literary setting, wider scriptural context and the gospel of Christ. Missler’s undercover-agent illustration on pages 179–180 adds the need to authenticate apparent instructions from “Control.” A numerical pattern may prompt reflection, but it must never override the written message.

A personal memory from December 2013

In early December 2013, I witnessed something small in my front yard that has remained with me ever since. It was the true story of three caterpillars—and the very different path taken by one of them.

Three Caterpillars and One Unusual Choice

The three caterpillars appeared during the Christmas season. Two remained on the poison ivy plant, where I expected them to form their chrysalises. The third caterpillar did something completely unexpected: it crawled away from the plant and attached itself beneath one of the star-shaped Christmas lights in my front yard.

At first, I thought this third caterpillar was unlikely to survive. It seemed exposed. Surely a bird, a hungry spider or some other danger would find it there. I returned to my daily routine believing there was probably no hope for it.

Each morning, however, I continued looking through the window and watching the other two caterpillars. In time, they formed shiny green chrysalises among the leaves.

A Shining Chrysalis Beneath the Star

One day, while studying the star lights—perhaps subconsciously looking for the missing caterpillar—I saw something tucked beneath one of the stars. To my amazement, it was a brilliant, shining chrysalis. The third caterpillar had survived the journey from the plant to the light.

I stood in awe, wondering whether the developing butterfly inside would survive. It was unusual to see a chrysalis beneath a human-made light, and the distance the caterpillar had crawled seemed remarkable to me.

When the sun set and the Christmas lights began to glow, I would stand beside the window with peppermint tea in my china cup. The chrysalis reflected the colours radiating from the starlight and appeared to glitter. Yet I also worried. Could the warmth from the light harm the delicate life within it?

When the Familiar Place Was Not the Safest

As time passed, the two chrysalises that had remained among the leaves lost their shine. When I went outside to inspect them, I was shocked to see black jumper ants inside. Both shells were empty and appeared partly eaten.

I immediately hurried to the star light to check the third chrysalis. To my relief, it was still intact.

Then, one morning, the third caterpillar emerged as a Danaid Eggfly butterfly—whole, beautiful and healthy. The one I had thought least likely to survive had become the sole survivor.

The Lesson I Heard from the Holy Spirit

While I wondered what this unusual event could mean, I heard the gentle, soft voice of the Holy Spirit. The message I understood was:

Sometimes I need to go against the norm, go the extra mile and go the distance to reach my full potential—even when it does not seem to make sense.

To me, the butterfly’s journey became a living parable. Its unusual path had looked vulnerable and unsafe, yet that was where its transformation reached completion. What seemed like the sensible, familiar place had not protected the other two.

This memory now brings to mind Paul’s words about refusing conformity and allowing God to transform the mind:

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

The connection is not that every unusual decision is automatically right. Rather, I was reminded not to mistake familiarity for safety or conformity for wisdom. There are times when the Holy Spirit calls us beyond what feels normal, asking us to listen carefully and trust His leading.

The third caterpillar’s path looked like the dangerous one, yet it became the place where transformation was completed. Sometimes leaving the comfort zone is not about being reckless; it is about being willing to follow God beyond the boundaries of what we already understand.

Looking Back at the Memory

More than a decade later, this memory still speaks to me. The caterpillar travelled farther than the others, chose an unexpected place and did what appeared unusual and unthinkable. In the end, the journey that set it apart also placed it on the path through which I received a lasting spiritual lesson.

The star light was not magical. It was an ordinary object in an ordinary front yard during Christmas 2013. Yet God used that small scene to teach me about courage, transformation and the importance of paying attention when His Spirit gently draws me beyond my comfort zone.

Sometimes the smallest moments in creation carry lessons that remain with us for a lifetime.

This journey log traces an insight from handwritten number patterns into AI-assisted music made unto the Lord. It explores my personal connections between 5, 6, 9, 10 and 12; reflected triangles representing above and below; an hourglass-like timekeeper; Christian liberty in the creative use of AI tools; and the complete lyrics for both songs.

On 21 August 2026, I received an insight and began turning it into a song through Suno. This post is my journey log: a record of pencil, number, Scripture, sound and my continuing search for insight from the Most High God—the High and Lofty One described in Isaiah 57:15.

How I am presenting these notes

These pages capture a developing symbolic exploration rather than a claim that Scripture assigns a fixed hidden meaning to every number. I am recording the connections as I perceived them and placing the biblical passages beside them so readers can distinguish the written Word from my personal interpretation.

• Genesis 1:26–31 places the creation of humanity on the sixth day.
• Leviticus 24:5–6 describes twelve loaves of showbread arranged in two rows, six in each row.
• Hebrews 2:6–9 speaks of humanity made lower than the angels and of Jesus, who was crowned with glory and honour after suffering death. This became part of my picture of Messiah bridging the gap.
• Revelation 21:12–21 brings together twelve gates, twelve apostles, twelve foundations and precious stones—threads that also appear in my developing notes.

The Triangle Hidden in Number Form

I also try to incorporate and illustrate a triangle hidden in number form. In the first triangle, 6 and 6 form the base, while 12 forms the point. A second 12 becomes the point of the reflected triangle, kissing the first point at the centre, while another 6 and 6 form the base below.

Beneath this symbolic 6/12 heaven-and-earth form, I draw an additional reflected figure. Here, 5 and 5 form each base, while 10 and 10 become the kissing points at the centre. This lower layer illustrates the lyrical movement of “five and five to reach the 10th realm” and “his beloved five and five who are of the tenth.”

Together, the first triangles reflect above and below, heaven and earth. Their joined outline resembles an hourglass, which is why I also see a hidden time capsule or timekeeper in the design. The two 12 points hold the first meeting place, while the repeated 6 and 6 bases frame the form from above and below. The added 5/10 reflection continues that movement beneath it, with its own pair of central meeting points.

The visual relationship between 6 and 9 adds another layer to the reflection. When the form is turned, what appears as 6 from one direction can appear as 9 from another. For me, this echoes the above-and-below movement. It is a personal visual meditation—not a mathematical equivalence intended to hint at a biblical doctrine of Matthew 6:9-13, The Lord's Prayer.

This verse gives the reflection its devotional centre. The diagram does not prove a coded teaching inside the numbers; rather, it helps me picture the prayerful relationship between heaven and earth and the way Messiah stands at the centre of my contemplation.

I believe it can be good to use AI tools creatively to make music unto the Lord. The tool does not replace the heart, prayer, discernment or responsibility of the person using it. In this journey, I supplied the insight and direction, experimented with the generated music, listened, selected and continued shaping the result.

Christian Liberty, Love and Creative Differences

I want to encourage readers not to speak against people simply because they use AI tools to expand, exhort and encourage others while sharing the Good News creatively. We do not always know how the Holy Spirit may be working within another person's process.

Romans 14 does not discuss artificial intelligence. Its immediate setting concerns disagreements over food and the observance of days. I apply its broader warning carefully: believers should not despise or condemn one another over disputable practices, because each servant ultimately gives an account to God.

At the same time, Christian liberty is not the absence of discernment. We can test lyrics, methods and fruit without attacking a person's heart or speaking ill of them. First Corinthians 13 calls us back to love, patience and kindness. In plain terms, love should guard our mouths when another person creates differently from us.

Pencil marks became a song, reflected triangles became a hidden timekeeper, and 6 and 9 became a visual reminder to look again from another direction. The deepest treasure is not the tool or the pattern by itself, but the desire to bring each discovery before God and turn creativity towards worship, truth and love.

The Land of Gile: A Dream, Two Messages and an Answer to Prayer

Article Summary

This personal testimony connects my twin Jane's dream record dated 20/07, My Sunray's planned visit to Australia, a prayer for direction, three boxes, and two communications from different parts of the world that I received as confirmation from God.

On Sunday, 9 August 2026, My Sunray—the love of my life—and I made a difficult decision. At about 10 a.m., we agreed to move to a place I will call the Land of Gile. This is a discreet name; I am intentionally keeping the real location private for now.

We also decided to surrender possessions we treasure, including many of our books. As I considered what I could take, I chose to limit myself to only three boxes. That number became part of the meaning of the morning.

A Prayer for Direction

The night before, I prayed and asked God for confirmation. I wanted to know whether what I had been studying was within His plan and whether I was travelling in the right direction.

I did not know that the following morning would bring together an old dream record, a meaningful date, a blessing from across the world, and our decision to release what we treasure.

Jane's Dream and the Date 20/07

My identical twin, Jane, says that she recorded this dream sometime between 2011 and 2013. Her original handwritten notes are titled The Land of Gile and carry the date 20/07. No year is written beside that date, so the 2011–2013 range remains approximate.

Jane now understands the dream as having a connection to My Sunray and me. Her notes do not name either of us, so I present that identification as Jane's later understanding and my personal interpretation of what unfolded.

The Land of Gile — 20/07

A place of nothingness, a place that co-exists with time or between time (the present and the past)—the in-between.

A story of the two keepers of Gile: an older man full of wisdom and a younger woman with a learned spirit.

They were mistaken for a witch and a wizard, but truly they were not.

Only a few—the rare few—had the gift and privilege of being given the chance to get to this land. The air seemed like water, yet dry and breathable; there was a sense of peace and satisfaction. Two red lions, male and female, remained in mid-air, very happy. Things that lived there seemed happy.

The younger lady suffered from a frustration that was so deep. To rid herself of that frustration, she had to bring the man of her dreams into the Land of Gile to have a holy communion with each other. She had to mention Gile three to seven times.

They reached the Land of Gile, and their communion was made.

The older man knew what she was going through, so he gave her advice.

She followed it. He was pleased.

She was blessed.

Why 20 July Stood Out to Me

The date in Jane's old record became especially striking because 20 July 2026 was the date My Sunray had been planning to visit me here in Australia. The dream note did not identify 2026; this was a later correspondence that became meaningful to me when the date reappeared in our own story.

That is what made the moment feel fantastical: something written many years earlier carried the same day and month as a date connected with the person I love.

Three Boxes: Peace and Faith

Choosing only three boxes meant releasing books and other possessions I treasure. I did not choose three merely as a practical limit. I connected the number with two biblical sequences that were already speaking to my heart.

In Galatians 5:22–23, peace is the third quality named in the fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace.” In 1 Corinthians 12:8–9, faith is the third gift named in that particular sequence, after the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge.

For me, the three boxes came to represent peace and faith: peace about what we were releasing, and faith for the path ahead.

Two Communications from Different Parts of the World

Not long after our decision that Sunday morning, Jane contacted me from New Zealand with the dream record. Around the same period, a screenshot containing a blessing from My Sunray's friend in Rhode Island came to my attention. His friend had written:

“So many blessings are being stored up for you and Anna.”

As I looked again at the screenshot beside today's date—Sunday, 9 August 2026—I noticed how the numbers 3, 6 and 9 seemed to be present in the timing. The blessing is marked Thursday, 6 August at 6:03 p.m. The number 6 therefore appears in both the date and the hour, while 3 appears in the minutes. Today's date brings the 9 into this collection of dates and times, and the year 2026 ends in another 6.

For me, this became another personal detail worth recording. I am not presenting the pattern as a doctrine, a mathematical proof or a rule for discerning God's will. It is simply an observation that caught my attention because 3, 6 and 9 have appeared repeatedly in my wider studies. Within this testimony, their presence added another quiet layer to the timing I was already receiving prayerfully.

How I Received the Confirmation

These two people were in different parts of the world and were not coordinating with one another. Jane was in New Zealand, and My Sunray's friend was in Rhode Island. Yet their words converged in my morning soon after I had prayed for direction and soon after My Sunray and I had made a costly decision together.

I do not offer this as a formula suggesting that every repeated date or unexpected message is a divine instruction. I share it as a personal testimony. For me, the prayer came first; then came a decision involving surrender, peace and faith; and then came two unplanned communications that aligned with what had already been placed before us.

I received their convergence as an answer from God: an encouragement that I was not wandering alone and that the path I had been studying deserved to be approached with prayer, discernment, peace and faith.

✨ Deep Treasure

Confirmation did not arrive by removing every sacrifice. It arrived as we became willing to release what we treasured. Three boxes became a sign of peace and faith, while words from New Zealand and Rhode Island met us near the beginning of a new path.

Very important to me. The day and month—20/7 is 20th July, I suspect the Holy Spirit informing me as 'timeless', so that the absence of the year proves to me personally his hidden message to me that he foresaw and knew I'd come to him to seek clarification in prayer and therefore, prepared the way in advance so that Jesus and the Father in heaven can be glorified.

Am I claiming that every coincidence is a message from God?
