PILLAR TO POOL

May 17th, 2020

The wax, pools, from the heat

Left a light, the pool deepens,

Light breathed forward, the pool stiffens,

Whether purple, yellow, red, blue, white, black, green, pink, orange.

The red, molten lava rides slothfully with earth’s ejection,

The wax, pools with light’s meditation.

With meditation, pure delight incense

Incense so pleasant of lavender,

of rose,

of berries,

of lilies,

of liquor,

of green tea,

of orange.

With incense, a smile, and an elimination of the frowners and red eyes.

The wild’s song is musical, the critters now beautiful,

the skies strut their blues.

When the wax pools, by the heat of the light

Domino’s the pleasantries delight.

AFLAME DELIGHT BUT OUT OF SIGHT

May 17th, 2020

I, a candle that burns, aflame delight

And with significant might,

And onlookers eye my shadow cast by thy light.

Long is the shadow that their eyes see

but the wick light, their eye cannot, will-not see

The Earth rotates, the tides change from day and night

The light melts away the wax, the wick’s shadow is judged

The flickering shadow now a rice-grain

The wax once a stone tower, now watery and rugged.

The light seen first, the shadow wax in-between, thy light is last.

The blind sees the shadow, and mock with familiarity

And, they, the salve anointed eyes see;

The shadow’s life,

The wax,

The wick and

The light.

They, the few, see the end of light although a flicker, remains.

I, lite my light, but with it the shadow.

With no light, there is no shadow.

THE FOX COLLECTS HIS ACCOUNTS

July 26th, 2020

The fox requires his food for he hungers,

He sniffs the dirt and digs the dirt he hid his food,

She licks her lips for the path of her food nears,

He finds his treasure and with glee pounces until the removal of the hood.

Woe to the settled snow; for they have laid bare for many seasons,

Woe to the inhabitants within the dirt,

Woe to the flowers who sprouted during the time of rest;

Woe to the grass who have stood firm in stormy seasons.

For the fox’s fruit, he hid within you,

For before your roots established, he hid his seed.

For he rejected the dust-covered by the rock,

For he knew his seed is better hidden in the dust far from the rock.
