“A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel”. (KJV)
“The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.”(NIV)
- Proverbs 12:10
Although this whole verse is very interesting; the one that stands out
to me is – how can the wicked have kind acts that are cruel? Isn't cruelty,
cruel?
Does this mean as a Child of Light I need to make sure I consistently
take my dog out for walks, play with him, get him groomed and feed and give him
water?
With my cat I must consistently brush his fur, feed him, play with him
and let him sleep when he desires and occasionally take him to the dentist?
Most times I play, brush, take my dog out for walks and get him groomed…my
daughter feeds the animals. So I'm wondering what are the cruel ways of the
wicked?
Ignoring our animals altogether, feeding them wrong food, not
exercising them and …?
Lesson learnt:
Make sure my animals are well looked after and that their needs are
met, like dental, grooming, feeding and play time to bond and lastly...that they flea treated, wormed and treated with love and affection.
Prayer:
Heavenly
father, I pray please help me meet the needs of my animals no matter what
expense is required for you made them for your enjoyment and we must rightly
care for them in Jesus name. AMEN.
