Part 2 Jesus death relates to the spiritual armor

          JESUS DEATH = SPIRITUAL ARMOR

Look closely for a few minutes at how these two relate to each other

....Now that I've looked at these, lets look at the bible verse from Ephesians.

"Ephesians 6:10-18
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand therefore, Having GIRDED your LOINS(meaning: the part of the body on both sides of the spine between the lowest ribs and hip bones...google definition) with TRUTH, and having put on the BREASTPLATE of RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod your FEET with the preparation of the GOSPEL of PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the SHIELD of FAITH with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take the HELMET of SALVATION, and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of GOD. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, "

After days of research and trials thrown my way (obviously I've caught the attention of the enemy) here is what I found.

One verse that caught my attention was Galatians 3: 27

"27 For as many of you as were baptised into Christ have put on Christ - NKJV"

When we observe the words "put on" that means to dress ourselves just like we put on our clothes or shoes. As we look closely at the cross not only does it look like a bridge but it looks like a template of a gift box.

Yes, I know...a gift box. A template of a gift box looks like this and we can wrap presents in the gift box.

To put to picture this revelation here are some examples of present boxes

"Matthew 6:34, NIV Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Isaiah 43:18-19, NIV Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."

Now I know that there are many kinds of present boxes we can make/use to put things in but I'm using this because this revelation was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit when  I was making some gifts during the Christmas season, the Holy Spirit revealed this is how God sees us ...those who have Jesus.

Just as the bible verse (Galatians 3: 27 above) says to "put on Jesus", when we do so we put on everything that is Godly, everything that is of heaven and not of this world. We to God look like Jesus...we all know that present boxes look beautiful, shiny, without "blemish or defect" (scratches, creases or marks), and this is how Jesus is. He is without blemish or defect.

"1 Peter 1: 9 says: "but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." NIV"

So from research and deep thinking and from the Holy Spirit promptings, I can add that we cannot do without the other. Just like how a rose cannot do without it's stem.

Meaning we have to understand why Jesus died for us on the cross if we are to fully understand the function and the "putting on" of the spiritual armour.

So, this also brings to light that when we put on the spiritual armour it means putting on Jesus, carrying our "cross" however; there's also another exciting and interesting part, a helper involved ...this will be in part 3.
